I have more than 25 years’ experience in working with student, young people and parents in the education sector. I specialise in working with young people and students who often face problems relating to school/college/university, families, peers and work. Concessions are available for students and young people under 25 years. To find out more please see the Young People page.

If you are experiencing difficulties in your life, counselling can help you to move forward in a more positive way. The pace of modern life can often become overwhelming and manifest itself in many ways. Your reasons for seeking counselling will form the basis of our working towards understanding, reflecting on and resolving the problems you are facing. For example you may have immediate problems caused by a sudden change in your life. You may have been struggling with issues over a longer term and want to move forward and do things in a different way. You may be experiencing distress which relates back to an earlier time and affects how you deal with present situations.
I offer counselling to a wide range of people coping with change/transitions brought about by individual challenges in life.
For more information please see the Counselling and Psychotherapy page. I offer short-term and long-term counselling for a range of issues including:

  • Depression and anxiety
  • Self harm and eating disorders
  • Low self esteem
  • Relationship and/or family difficulties
  • Loss and bereavement
  • Past abuse and trauma
